ISD 196 Nordic Ski
Who we are
The ISD 196 Nordic Ski Team is composed of students from all ISD 196 high schools - Apple Valley, Eagan, Eastview, Rosemount, School of Environmental Studies - as well as the district middle schools - Black Hawk, Dakota Hills, Falcon Ridge, Rosemount, Scott Highlands, Valley. ALL BOYS AND GIRLS IN GRADES 6 - 12 are welcome.
The season runs mid-November through mid-February.

Team enrollment
Our 2025/2026 season start approaches -- Monday, November 10th -- with or without snow!
Head to Team Registration + Enrollment to learn about the registration and enrollment processes and enroll your skier.
Captains' Practice waiver
If your skier is joining Captains' Practices, print, sign, and drop off the following documentwith the captains'. Your skier is set to go!
Sign-ups for Finn Sisu
Does your skier need new equipment? Sign up for one of the time slots available at Finn Sisu to meet with Coach Abery. Dates are listed in the TeamSnap schedule.
Carpooling
Are you interested in carpooling for your skier(s) with other skiers at their school? If so, complete the form below for each of your skiers. You will then be added to a carpool group for your skier's school.
Chipotle night | Wednesday, November 12th from 4 - 8 p.m.
Head over to the Eagan Chipotle on Promenade after practice to grab dinner and support the team!
25% of the sales go to the team. Share with your friends and family, and be sure to state that you're with the 196 Nordic Ski Team!

There are several excellent opportunities to volunteer for a role next season. Many hands make light work. Your support is appreciated.
