ISD 196 Nordic Ski
Who we are
The ISD 196 Nordic Ski Team is composed of students from all ISD 196 high schools - Apple Valley, Eagan, Eastview, Rosemount, School of Environmental Studies - as well as the district middle schools - Black Hawk, Dakota Hills, Falcon Ridge, Rosemount, Scott Highlands, Valley. ALL BOYS AND GIRLS IN GRADES 6 - 12 are welcome.
The season runs mid-November through mid-February.

Varsity Section 1 Championship
The skiers and drivers will stay warm when not racing at Peace Lutheran Church. Parent volunteer sign-ups at the races and for driving skiers between Hyland and Peace Luther Church will be available soon!
Food at Sections
All skiers should pack their own lunches, but a variety of healthy snacks and beverages will be available to all skiers. Please sign up for food donations. Consider dropping them off with Emilie Berglund on Monday evening.
Coming up...
- Varsity Section 1 Championship: Tuesday, February 3rd at Hyland
- Team members will be able to relax in a warm location offsite. Skiers should take a healthy bagged lunch that day. Food, driver, and parent volunteers sign-ups will be available soon.
- MN Nordic State Championships: Wednesday + Thursday, February 11th and 12th at Giant's Ridge
- End-of-Season Banquet: Monday, March 2nd at Eastview High School. All coaches, skiers, and skiers' families -- whether middle school or high school and regardless of Developmental, Junior Varsity, or Varsity race participation -- are invited. More info will be available in February.
