ISD 196 Nordic Ski
Who we are
The ISD 196 Nordic Ski Team is composed of students from all ISD 196 high schools - Apple Valley, Eagan, Eastview, Rosemount, School of Environmental Studies - as well as the district middle schools - Black Hawk, Dakota Hills, Falcon Ridge, Rosemount, Scott Highlands, Valley. ALL BOYS AND GIRLS IN GRADES 6 - 12 are welcome.
The season runs mid-November through mid-February.

Food sign-ups
Parents, please sign up to prepare food or shop for food.
- Purchased and prepared food should be delivered to Ali and Mike Spitzack on Monday, February 10th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Volunteer shoppers will be provided with a shopping list and will be reimbursed for expenses. Please save your receipts.
State bound!
A crew of our skiers and coaches are headed to Giant's Ridge to compete in the State Championship February 11th and 12th after qualifying at the Section 1 Championship! Congratulations to
- Kate Poppinga and Lucy Van Scoy qualified together for the Sprint Relay;
- Anna Spitzack and Hannah Krocheski qualified individually for the Pursuit;
- The Boys ISD 196 team will ski Pursuit and Sprint Relay after earning 2nd place as a team in the Section Championship: Christian Case, Leif Wolke, Grady Carlson, Caleb Lyon, Cole Hunter, Frank Cossetta, Harrison Adam, Andrew Lindahl, and Ryan Krech (not pictured!).
Our awesome coaches are Nick Hall, Sam Abbott, Jacob Daubenburger, Kaitlin Lee, Brian Abery, Derek Schlager, and Brock Taylor.

Sign-ups for meal prep, meal clean-up, and shuttling skiers
Parents will do the meal prep and clean-up as well the transporting of skiers and coaches between the villas and the course (less than a mile, I think!). Sign-ups coming shortly.
