We’re thrilled to kick off our first fundraiser of the season with Heggies Pizza >>! This is a great opportunity for skiers to raise funds for the team AND themselves, and we’re hoping everyone gets involved. Participation is optional, but for skiers who choose to participate, they will earn $2 for every pizza sold.

The full fundraiser will run from the end of November through the second week of January, which includes everything from skiers  selling pizzas to skiers delivering them to buyers.

To ensure your skier’s success in this fundraiser, we’ve outlined key steps to follow. Let’s make this a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved!

Fundraiser materials are available to skiers in multiple formats:

  • Print copies: Emilie Berglund will hand out print copies of forms to skiers after practice on Monday, November 25th.
  • Printable PDF files: Info sheets and forms are  formatted for easy printing (if skier is not at practice or needs to print more forms!).
  • Downloadable Excel file: If you prefer to keep track of orders in an Excel file, this spreadsheet also calculates the costs for you.

Step 2: Skiers sell pizzas!

Dates: Sell between Monday, November 25th and Monday, December 16th

Skiers sell pizzas to friends, family, neighbors. Be sure to sell to people to whom you can deliver the pizzas at the end of the fundraiser.

Skiers, document buyers' names and contact information while selling. Collect payment.

Step 3: Skiers submit final counts of pizzas sold and payments.

Date: Complete both 3A and 3B by Tuesday, December 17th

Step 3A: Electronic submission

Complete the website's Heggies Sell Sheet and submit it ELECTRONICALLY via the website.

Step 3B: In-person submission

Submit IN PERSON to Sheila Swift in a single sealed envelope with skier's name on it:

  • Completed PRINTED Sell Sheet with the total number of each pizza type sold and told amount of payment being submitted.
  • Full payments for pizzas sold.

Sheila Swift will be at practice to collect the Sell Sheet and payments from skiers on December 16th and 17th .

If a skier does not provide accurate funds, the missing funds will be subtracted from the money they earn on completion of the fundraiser.

NOTE: Skiers, hold on to your order forms for the final step... DELIVERY!

Step 4: Skiers pick up the purchased pizzas.

Date: Monday, January 13th

Heggies will deliver the full order of pizzas sold by the team on January 13th to Valleywood Golf Course. The Heggies pizza pick-up instructions will be communicated one week ahead of time. The pizza pick-up will be timed with completion of practice.

Parent volunteers will be recruited to help sort the pizzas by skier. Skiers will pick up their full order of pizzas sold to deliver to buyers over the next few days. Given the temperatures will be low, the pizzas will stay frozen outside until skiers can distribute the pizzas.

Step 5: Skiers distribute pizzas to buyers.

Dates: Complete by Sunday, January 19th

Skiers will distribute the pizzas to buyers by the end of the weekend on January 12th.

Step 6: Skiers are paid for pizza sales by Booster Club.
