Winter Training Trip (WTT) at Giant's Ridge

What is the Winter Training Trip?

The annual Winter Training Trip will take place this year on December 27 - 29th, 2021. This is an OPTIONAL trip intended for skiers who can ski and are not still learning to ski.

Participating skiers will travel to northern Minnesota to ski with the team at Giant's Ridge »where they will ski Classic and Freestyle/Skate methods. The team will stay at YMCA's Camp Warren » in Eveleth. The trip is a great opportunity to get to know your teammates and ski in lovely northern Minnesota!

The cost per skier is approximate $200, which covers coach bus transportation, lodging, meals at Camp Warren, and a Giant's Ridge ski passes. Note that skiers will want to bring money to pay for their lunches on the way to and from Giant's Ridge.

It is CRUCIAL that parents check their skier's health before the trip and keep the skier home if they are unwell.
