Details
Schedule
See MSHSL Nordic Ski Racing State Meet >> for the schedules for Boys and Girls.
Costs
There are no costs for TRANSPORTATION or LODGING to skiers and coaches as the school district covers this.
Parents feed and support the skiers and coaches during the few days. See more below.
Lodging
- Skiers and coaches: Lodging is at the Villas at Giant's Ridge. These reservations are made at the season start by our Eastview High School Athletic Director Matt Percival. Two lodges are reserved with (a) the larger one for the boys' team and male coaches and (b) the smaller for the girls competing and female coach.
- Skier families: Lodging is not provided. We recommend reserving at local hotels and Airbnb houses as soon as you know your skier has qualified for State (after previous week's Section 1 Championship meet).
NOTE: Both villas are reserved for skiers and coaches on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but ONLY the larger villa is reserved for Thursday night. On Thursday morning, all skiers and coaches from the smaller villa will move their bags/gear to the larger villa until the races are done for the day and the team departs for home.
Transportation
Skiers and coaches travel by bus and depart Eastview High School at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11th. No transportation is provided to parents. The bus will depart after the meet is complete, returning to Eastview High School late Thursday evening.
Skiers should have money with for bus and food stops.
Packing
See Packing for State Meet for the packing list. The temperatures will be low. Skiers need to pack appropriately for their own racing adventure AND for watching their teammates race.
